Lumber Yard Loader – Chelsea Location

Full-time job, overtime available, entry level position with opportunity to grow with company! We are looking for a self motivated individual to work in our lumber yard as a Loader in our Chelsea location.

Job duties include:

  • Loading customer orders
  • Putting away stock lumber outside in our lumber yard
  • Cleaning and yard maintenance
  • Friendly and customer oriented customer service
  • Heavy lifting
  • Majority of day spent on your feet moving products throughout the lumber yard

Chelsea Hours: Scheduling hours are 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday thru Friday and Saturday’s from 7:30am-3:30pm (shift times may vary).

Year round position with overtime possibilities. References upon request and 18 years of age or older, experience preferred but not required. Transportation to work is required.

CDL truck driver positions
class a or class b – saline & Chelsea locations

Have a CDL license and looking for local routes? Searching for a thriving business with a family environment? We might have what you are looking for! 
 
Chelsea Lumber has immediate job openings out of our Saline and Chelsea stores for dependable CDL A or B Delivery Truck Drivers with Air Brake Certification. We are looking for reliable drivers to safely and efficiently operate our delivery trucks, band loads and occasional manual unload/delivery of various building products to customer locations, throughout the state of Michigan. Candidates must have a clean driving record and a positive, friendly attitude towards building client relationships through delivery interactions. Transportation to work is required. 
 

  • Saline Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm, full time position out of our Saline store
  • Chelsea Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm, full time position out of our Saline store
  • Deliveries within the state of Michigan, no out of state travel!

Requirements: 

  • 21+ years of age

  • Ability to drive forklifts
